If you want to discover recipes more frequently, you can use Secrets of the Stone but it will cost 3x Spirit of Harmony. This consumes three gems in the process and can only be used once a day: Instead, you'll choose from six types of discovery recipes based on the color of the rare gem recipe you're interested in. In Mists of Pandaria, learning rare recipes is a bit different than in past expansions, where you would complete daily quests like Shipment: Blood Jade Amulet for tokens, which were then used to purchase recipes.
